Meet some of our Community Members

Marcus, Carolyn and Haley:
Marcus hales from the Netherlands and was brought up with street entertainment all around him. He is a very talented musician that plays many instruments, some of which I am sure you have never heard of. Together with his wife Carolyn they make and perform with marionettes. Carolyn has a lot of experience in Permaculture and organic gardening. Their young son, Haley attends a small local primary school just up the road from the Park. Marcus and Carolyn have built their own home and have created a wonderful garden on their lot.

Grant, Jean, Jordan and Mariah:
Grant is one of the original developers and works in Bundaberg at his new Real Estate Business. Grant is involved with the local Rural Fire Brigade as chairperson and training officer. His wife Jean works as a teachers aid for special needs children at the local High School. Their children attend the local Gin Gin State Primary School. The children love living here at the Park.

George, Kath, Matt, Cassey and Benny:
Kookaburra Work Farm is this families business. This family live in their magnificent Dome Home, an amazing structure that provides a wonderful living space for the young family. Matt has finished school and works on the worm farm and the younger children attend the local Primary School.

David and Lynne:
Retired to the country David and Lynne moved from Sydeny's northern suburbs. They have a beautiful log style home overlooking one of the lakes on the Park. David says that he has been back to Sydney and is glad to be where he is. Once tasting the tranquility of the country that Kookaburra Park offers you never want to go back to the rat race.

David, Sharon, Tamara, Ted and Jaydon:
David is a building foreman for a national building company working in the region. His wife Sharon is involved in the local community in Gin Gin. Their daughter attends a private High School in Bundaberg and the younger children attend the local primary school.

Jim and May:
Middle aged retired couple who enjoy the quite life in Kookaburra Park.

Laurie:
Laurie is our oldest resident. She still enjoys tending her garden.

Albert and Rosalie:
This couple enjoy traveling and from time to time leave their permanent home for the movable one driving around the country visiting friends and family in thier motor home.

Alan and Jan;
Jan is our current Treasurer.
